If you want to see what ink looks like running away at turbo speed, just mention “Jesse James” to ex-fiance Kat Von D, and she’ll gladly demonstrate. Apparently, that’s what a local morning show did, which caused the reality star to storm off before her scheduled interview Wednesday.
According to TMZ, “Good Day L.A.” aired a clip of the star’s upcoming season of “L.A. Ink,” which showed a giddy Kat getting a tat of her then-fiance’s face to surprise him. Once she saw it playing, she was out the door.
“In my opinion the story is out there, and we didn’t do anything wrong,” a producer of the show told RadarOnline. “There was no way we weren’t going to ask her about the breakup. She knows our show, and she’s coming on for publicity and she just walked off.”
The producer added: “She knew what the clip was. I don’t understand her grounds for walking off at all.”
Whatever may have set her off, Kat took to Twitter to express her outrage: “Dear GoodDayLA, thanks for the waste of a perfectly good morning. Lack of compassion n respect for eachother never fails to dissapoint me.”
The clip shows Jesse visiting Kat’s shop and being a little taken aback by her surprise. Scared of his reaction, she joked: “I thought you were going to tell me you were breaking up with me.”
The fifth season of “L.A. Ink” airs Thursday at 10pm EST on TLC.
