deadliest-catch-logoThis was a crucial season for “Deadliest Catch,” a quieter season following the emotion-laden passing of Captain Phil. There were questions and concerns about whether the show would continue, whether the Cornelia Marie would add another season of fishing, and whether the men on the other boats would fill their pots in the Bering Sea. It turned out to be business as usual, with plenty of fights, pranks and frustrations. Of course, there was good fishing, too. For Tuesday night’s finale, the Seabrooke captain fights an agonizing illness, Northwestern’s captain Sig exacts fiery revenge on the Time Bandit for a humiliating prank. The men of the Wizard resort to drastic measures to ensure good luck on their final haul as the Cornelia Marie comes home from what could be its last-ever season of fishing.
