Report: ‘DWTS’ Producers Want More ‘High Profile’ Celebs

Dancing with the Stars” producers are trying to keep their show from becoming “Dancing with Some People You’ve Kind of Heard of and Who Used to be Famous Once” and back to living up to its name.

Producers are under orders to find “more high profile” contestants, TMZ reports.

This means you Jake Pavelka, Chelsea Kane and Kendra Wilkinson.

To lure bigger names, celebs are being promised total control over their rehearsal schedule, with no minimum rehearsal requirements, the gossip site reported. They also get final say on their music selections and costume design, which hopefully won’t mean the outfits suddenly turn classy.

No word yet on if any of those A-list big fish have taken the bait.
