Paris Hilton may be passe, but don’t tell her that.

Hilton appeared on “Good Morning America” Wednesday for a sit down at her Los Angeles home to discuss her career, her stalker and her new series, “The World According to Paris“.

When the “dismal” ratings for her Oxygen reality show were brought up, ABC’s Dan Harris wondered if “the original celebutante” was now being overshadowed by her former bestie and uber-successful Kim Kardashian, and asked Hilton if she worried “that her moment has passed.”

Clearly used to being referred to as a sizzling star, not a fizzling star, Hilton didn’t care for the question. She looked off camera to her handlers for help, got up and left.

With her mic still on, Hilton could be heard telling her publicist, “I don’t want all this stuff used.”

ABC aired the interview this morning and, naturally, included the walk-off drama.

Hilton did return to resume the interview, but it didn’t make the moment any less awkward. Hilton then provided a publicist-like vague response disconnected from the original question. “I’ve been in this business for 15 years now, so it’s been a very long time and just like any other business person, it’s always important to reinvent yourself and come up with new projects,” Hilton said.

A similar incident occurred in June when Hilton appeared on “The View” and was grilled by Barbara Walters, leading an unhappy Paris to erupt backstage.
