NBC is breaking up with “Love Bites.” The network confirmed they are pulling the plug on the love-and-romance drama after it failed to catch on with viewers.

The hour-long anthology series, which starred Becki Newton, Greg Grunberg and Constance Zimmer, got off to a rocky start when it was originally scheduled to debut last fall but ultimately launched as a summer series. And in between the delayed premiere, the series order was reduced from 13 episodes to nine (never a good sign).

The final episode will air Thursday night.
