This past season’s finale of “South Park” was dubbed “You’re Getting Old,” and it had all the trappings of a series finale. However, according to EW.com, fans of the series can get another year older knowing that creators Matt Stone and Trey Parker will be sticking with the show for a while longer. Comedy Central has confirmed that not only will the first half of next season — it’s 15th — begin on Oct. 5, the second half of that season will include seven new episodes and Stone and Parker will be working on more “South Park” at least through 2013. While it seemed like the duo might be leaving in the wake of their success on Broadway with “The Book of Mormon,” it now appears that “South Park” may even outlive Kenny.
