98-burn-noticeAs if his life wasn’t tough enough with this whole trying-to-get-back-into-the-spy game thing, it looks like there’s more trouble brewing for Michael Weston on the USA series “Burn Notice.” Deadline Hollywood is reporting that Jere Burns has just been cast as a potential new nemesis for Weston (Jeffrey Donovan). Burns will appear in at least five episodes as Anson Fullerton, a human behavior specialist with the government whose life takes a turn when his wife is taken captive by a brutal criminal. There’s no word on how Fullerton gets on Weston’s bad side but if Burns’ work as a big-time bad guy last season on “Justified” is any indication, he’s going to get our once-burned hero very hot and bothered.

And how is Michael Weston adjusting so far this season, as he settles back into working for “the agency”? Not entirely well, as this season’s premiere episode makes very clear.
