Last week, Sam Jones III tweeted that he was “loving life.” And today, after being sentenced to one year in federal prison for conspiring to sell more than 10,000 doses of the prescription painkiller oxycodone, the “Smallville” actor – he played Clark Kent’s pal Pete Ross on seasons one through three – appeared to have an equally positive attitude. “Just got out of court,” he tweeted. “God is great.” According to reports, the 28-year-old was arrested after DEA agents raided his Canoga Park home in 2009. He was found guilty last December. Jones was also given three years probation upon his release from jail. As E! News notes, Jones suffered another setback recently. “Just last week, his ex-girlfriend, Karissa Shannon (one-half of the 21-year-old Shannon twins), packed up and moved out of his place and into the Bunny House to be with Hugh Hefner.”
