John Rich wants to take you to dinner, although you’ll have to pony up some money for the privilege. Rich, of course, is the country music star who won “The Celebrity Apprentice” last weekend.
On the show, he helped raise $1.4 million for St. Jude’s Children’s Hospital in Memphis – the famed medical center founded by legendary TV star Danny Thomas. And now, Rich wants to raise even more money by auctioning off a dinner with him and Eric Trump, son of Donald, whose Eric Trump Foundation raises money for St. Jude’s.
To learn how to bid for the dinner – to be held at Wolfgang’s Steakhouse in New York – just visit this Web page for all the details.
In fact, Rich – who’s best-known as one half of the country music duo Big & Rich (with Big Kenny) – talked about St. Jude’s and “The Celebrity Apprentice” Friday night on NBC’s “Late Night with Jimmy Fallon.” Among other things, Rich revealed how he got Donald Trump to wear a cowboy hat.
It turns out Fallon and Rich have a history together. On “Late Night,” they reminisced about the time they partied together ’til 4 o’clock in the morning one night in Nashville. When they went out carousing together, Rich said it felt like they were Bo and Luke Duke from “The Dukes of Hazzard.”
