Kara DioGuardi must be more fascinating than we thought.
At least Bravo thinks so. The cable network announced Thursday its teaming with the former “American Idol” judge for a second reality show. Titled simply, “Kara,” the docu-series will offer an inside glimpse of the music world as it follows the songwriter-producer’s professional life.
“‘Kara’ is the perfect addition to our latest development slate,” said Eli Lehrer, vice president of development for Bravo, in a statement. “People have one perception of DioGuardi, but this series will peek behind the curtain and reveal much more interesting and multi-faceted aspects of this incredibly successful, talented artist and business woman.”
DioGuardi’s other Bravo program, the music competition series “Platinum Hit” for which she serves as head judge, debuts on Monday, May 30 at 10 p.m./EST.
