Leave it to Larry David to get annoyed by the symptoms of Parkinson’s disease. Or make that “Larry David,” the comedian’s alter ego from “Curb Your Enthusiasm,” which will return for its eighth season in July after a year and a half off.

Michael J. Fox, who has Parkinson’s, is among the guest stars appearing in the season that features Larry moving to New York. Fox plays a version of himself who lives in the apartment above and aggravates Larry, who ends up believing, that “I’m being symptomatic just to annoy him – a whole passive-aggressive thing,” Fox told TV Guide.

“He’s complaining because I’m shuffling and making noise upstairs. It’s very funny,” Fox said.
Michael Gross, who played Fox’s TV dad on “Family Ties,” also makes an appearance earlier in the season as Larry’s dermatologist, appearing with Richard Lewis in a funeral scene. Gross hinted that he possibly gives Larry a troubling diagnosis.

Other guest stars lined up for the season include Ricky Gervais, Michael McKean, Ana Gasteyer and Red Sox’s punch line Bill Buckner.

A two-and-a-half minute behind-the-scenes clip released last month shows Larry chewing out a group of girl scouts, arguing with Rosie O’Donnell on the softball diamond and getting lectured by a doorman to keep his hands off Michael J. Fox. Sam old Larry.
