NeNe walks! Meat Loaf cries!  Star gets the hook!

Oh, my!

Last night’s three hour edition of “Celebrity Apprentice” contained two boardrooms, three firings and a pair of spectacular rock star meltdowns.

Busy spending time with Mom?  Here’s what you missed:

NENE GOES A.W.O.L.: After battling it out with Star Jones for weeks – and narrowly escaping the hook last week – the reality show diva decided she had enough.  Leakes, believing that Mr. Trump was showing preferential treatment to Jones, decided not to report for the evening’s first task. “To you NeNe, I say, you’re fired,” Trump said in her absence.  “You’re a quitter. And Star Jones kicked your ass whether you like it or not!”

Watch NeNe’s Departure:

MEAT LOAF MELTS DOWN: The aging rocker was moved over to team ASAP and took on duties as project manager of a task that involved organizing and selling tickets to a comedy show.  But when it looked they may lose and have to hand over donations intended for his charity to the opposing team, the waterworks came on.  In the Boardroom, ex-teammate John Rich promised to personally match any donations should Meat’s team lose.  Luckily, ASAP won the task.  (And no, Meat Loaf did not offer to return the favor.)

FIRED AGAIN: LaToya Jackson – who last week became the first and only contestant ever to be re-hired – is now the first and only to be fired twice.

STAR GETS SLAYED: While the former lawyer and talk show host found a fast friend in Meat Loaf during task one, things got less friendly during their second assignment:  creating a promotional video for the OnStar vehicle communication device.  After losing the task to the two man Backbone teamof Lil John and John Rich, the pair could not agree on who was really responsible for inserting the important brand messages in their ad.  During a break from the boardroom, Meat referred to the former Brooklyn prosecutor as “sweetie.”  The ensuing argument, overheard by Mr. Trump, seemed to be the final nail in her coffin.  ”The branding was not exactly what OnStar liked. They thought you totally missed the mark. You were in charge of branding,” he said.  “Star you’re fired.”
