How could she not do Sarah Palin? On what was touted as last night’s special “Mother’s Day episode” of SNL, host Tina Fey reprised the impression that made her a household name.  The Palin parody was the first sketch of the evening: a debate amongst undeclared 2012 GOP Presidential candidates which also saw the return of Darrell Hammond as Donald Trump:

As to be expected, the episode was heavy on Osama Bin Laden jokes. The show’s cold open began with Bin Laden (Fred Armisen) reading his last will and testament, which included the order: “do not bury me at sea”:

Yet another Bin Laden jab came during an oddball spoof of “The Little Mermaid,” with the former Al Qaeda leader’s body floating at the bottom of the ocean:

Because the “30 Rock” star is six months pregnant with her second child, several bits were centered around expectant mothers, including Fey’s opening monologue duet with fellow mom-to-be Maya Rudolph:

Rudolph returned for an unsettling birthing class sketch:

And Abby Elliott made an excellent mockery of “Pregnant in Heels” host Rosie Pope:

Saving the best for last, the night’s Digital Short pitted The Lonely Island boys against a Captain Jack Sparrow-obsessed Michael Bolton (yes, the real Michael Bolton):
