Looks like “The Biggest Loser‘s” loss is “The Doctors” gain.

Jillian Michaels has signed a multi-year deal to join the syndicated daytime program “The Doctors” as a co-host, it was announced Friday. Michaels, who’s appeared on the show as a guest expert over the past three seasons, will begin as a regular next season along with the show’s current lineup of hosts featuring Drs. Travis Stork, Jim Sears, Lisa Masterson and Drew Ordon.

In her new role, the TV trainer will focus on “wellness, prevention and lifestyle dynamics,” as well as additional health-related issues.

“I could not be more excited about joining such an amazing show! My greatest passion is helping people live their healthiest, happiest lives by empowering them with information and support,” Michaels said in a statement. “This is literally the most informative show in daytime, and it allows me to continue to educate people on how to make powerful health choices enabling them to take control of not only their physical well-being, but every facet of their lives. I have thoroughly enjoyed the time I have spent as a guest on the show and becoming a permanent member of the team makes today one of the best yet.”

In addition, Michaels will also serve as a special correspondent on Dr. Phil‘s” talk show.

Michaels announced in December that she is leaving “The Biggest Loser” at the end of Season 11.
