Just when this contestant was gaining confidence, momentum, and a few weeks of good scores, down came the hammer on her time on Season 12 of “Dancing with the Stars.”
The fifth couple eliminated from the competition Tuesday night was Kendra Wilkinson and Louis Van Amstel. No more booby comments from Len Goodman, no more stripper remarks from Bruno Tonioli, and no more questioning her sophistication or elegance from Carrie Ann Inaba.
Also in the bottom three were Chelsea Kane and Mark Ballas and Kirstie Alley and Maksim Chmerkovskiy.
“I’ve lasted seven weeks longer than I ever thought I would last,” said Kendra before thanking Louis and her hubby Hank. “Baby Hank I’m coming home for you. I’m not the best dancer, but I am the best mom.”
And now a few other notable moments from Tuesday’s results show…
Favorite Captioned Comment: I don’t know why I haven’t been writing about these all season, but how much do you love the Tuesday night captions for what the stars and dancers say to each other on Monday night performances that we don’t hear on-air? Love. It. Lots. The best ones tonight were Hines’ swearing and Ralph telling Karina, “Let’s kick ass.”
Lovely Quote of the Night: “A body in motion and a voice in the air. It doesn’t get much better than that,” said Tom Bergeron about 17-year-old ballerina Patricia Zhou’s performance, which was accompanied by singer/guitarist Priscilla Ahn.
Here’s how the remaining pairs ranked this week with the four scores for the individual dance and four scores for the group dance:
Ralph Macchio and Karina Smirnoff: 36 + 30=66
Hines Ward and Kym Johnson: 36 + 30=66
Chelsea Kane and Mark Ballas: 34 + 30=64
Kendra Wilkinson and Louis van Amstel: 31 + 30=61
Kirstie Alley and Maksim Chmerkovskiy: 30 + 30=60
Romeo and Chelsie Hightower: 30 + 30=60
