Since she’s known for her, ahem, body of work, it seems appropriate that red-headed bombshell Christina Hendricks is guest starring on tonight’s episode of “Body of Proof.”

So just how did the new ABC crime drama starring Dana Delany as a medical examiner land the “Mad Men” beauty? They had an inside connection.

The actress, who’s smitten fans with her role as the voluptuous Joan Holloway on the award-winning drama “Mad Men for four seasons,” appears opposite her real-life husband Geoffrey Arend, who plays Dr. Ethan Gross on “Proof.”

In the storyline, Hendricks gets to play double trouble as Karen Archer, the identical twin of a corpse in Megan Hunt’s (Dana Delany) morgue whose mysterious death has captured Ethan’s interest…and in more ways than one.

“Body of Proof” airs Tuesday at 10 p.m./EST on ABC.
