CBS has pulled the midseason spy show “Chaos” after just three episodes.

The comedic CIA drama about the Clandestine Administration and Oversight Services (CHAOS) – a team that combats national security threats – stars Tim Blake Nelson, James Murray, Eric Close and Freddy Rodriguez.

“Chaos” aired in a challenging time slot, Fridays at 8 p.m., where the latest low-rated installment pulled 5.7 million viewers, ranking a 1.0 rating among the 18-49 demographic.

The network is replacing the series with new episodes of the Canadian show “Flashpoint” beginning May 6; repeats of “CSI: NY” will air in the time slot in the meantime.
