Never let it be said that Courteney Cox isn’t a good sport. Appearing on “The Late Show with David Letterman” last night, she talked about her love life and a “nip slip” while on vacation – and in an upcoming episode of “Cougar Town” she even plans to talk to fans.
She continued the chattiness in a surprise appearance on Howard Stern’s Sirius XM radio show today.
Wednesday night, Letterman, who usually politely steers clear of relationship questions, asked about her husband David Arquette, who has talked openly and often about their relationship.
Find Out What Happened When Arquette Hit on Courteney … at Disney Land
“We’re separated and David is sober now,” Cox said, adding that he had been so for 100 days.
She chuckled at Arquette’s appearances on Stern’s show in which he has divulged various details about their relationship. Cox said she’s a Howard fan and listened to her estranged husband on the show Tuesday, where he confessed he hit on Cox at Disney World.
She confirmed the story. “He hit pretty hard. I said, ‘You don’t have the fast pass right now’,” Cox said.
Letterman then showed photos of Cox from her recent vacation to St. Barts. She said she knew the paparazzi was there and she worked it for the camera, but they didn’t get anything good. “Oh that’s not true, they actually did get something – I had a little nipple slip,” she told Letterman, who then produced the photo.
“Wow, Dave, that’s not pixilated or anything,” she laughed. “You know, I was cold.”
Cox herself appeared on Stern’s show this morning, where she also talked openly about their relationship.
“I don’t think we tried our hardest,” Cox said. But at this point she feels, “more hopeful about his life and him finding someone.”
Next up for Cox, on Monday’s special episode of “Cougar Town” fans will have the opportunity to call in and talk with Cox or her costars Busy Phillips, Josh Hopkins, Ian Gomez or Christa Miller. A number will be referenced in the show and one of the actors will answer.
“Cougar Town” will air at 9:30 p.m. Monday on ABC and return to its normal slot Wednesday.
