A little thigh injury didn’t hold Maksim Chmerkoviskiy down last week and it’s not going to hold fellow dance pro Cheryl Burke down either.

The “Dancing with the Stars” pro told People that during her Monday night performance she “felt something rip” in her upper inner thigh and groin region of her left leg.”

Her rep, Susan Madore, told XfinityTV Tuesday morning, “She was looked at last night post-show by the on-set medic who advised her to rest her leg as much as possible. This morning she feels much better and her injury shouldn’t affect this week’s rehearsals.”

The good news is that she doesn’t have to dance on tonight’s results show, which should help her rest the strained muscle in time to be in working shape for next Monday’s American themed show.

Cheryl and partner Chris Jericho scored a 23 this week for their Paso Doble. Get the scoop on the highs and whoas! from performance night in our recap.
