Sarah Palin is no better than President Obama in answering tough questions – a comparison no right or left wing supporter could have likely imagined coming out of the conservative talk-show host Bill O’Reilly’s mouth.

O’Reilly used the recent snubbing of Fox News by Hillary Clinton and Robert Gates as an opportunity to link the problems of Palin with Obama’s, claiming on “The O’Reilly Factor” that neither of the political figures wanted to face tough questions, according to the Huffington Post.

Following the White House’s decision to skip “Fox News Sunday” during its recent Sunday morning talk-show blitz to discuss the turmoil in Libya, O’Reilly said, “There isn’t any anti-Obama juggernaut on this network,” adding, “If Barack Obama looks like he doesn’t want to go into the tougher venues… people are going to say look you are not confident in your position.”

O’Reilly believes independent voters could be losing interest in Obama for such a move, similar to Palin’s recent loss of support amongst the same base.

“Her favorability among Republicans and independents has dropped four points in a month. The reason I think it’s dropping is because she’s not engaging directly,” O’Reilly said. “When I had her on this program, I asked her some specific questions she didn’t want to answer. She wanted to give a speech, this that and the other thing.”
