Kendra Wilkinson thinks people need to lighten up when it comes to “Dancing With the Stars.”

“I hate how everyone is taking this so serious. People just need to relax and look at it as entertainment, as funny, as fun,” she said. “Don’t look at it like we’re supposed to be pros.”

As if to illustrate her point, she made her comments to People magazine not while rehearsing, but while frolicking poolside in Las Vegas at the MGM Grand.

When it comes to her own performance, which was only a so-so 18 last week, she is trying to ignore the pressure. “I need to think, this is the club and I need to go out there and show what I really got,” said the 25-year-old reality star.

Wilkinson has already ID’d the ones to beat. “Kirstie Alley is awesome, she knows how to dance … she’s my biggest competitor, and, of course Ralph – Karate Kid,” she said.

The former Playboy girlfriend is also getting used to the “Dancing” get-ups.

“I lived at the Playboy Mansion, and I was dolled up every now and then. This is like intense dolled up, blue eyeshadow and hair out to outer space,” she said. “I didn’t even recognize myself on TV. I was like, who is that? I looked like a mermaid.”
