A conversation between Tina Brown and MSNBC’s Mika Brzezinski resulted in some CNN bashing on “Morning Joe,” with the topic of ousted “Parker Spitzer” co-host Kathleen Parker being the instigator, according to the Huffington Post.

On Tuesday, Brzezinski brought up the fact that Parker wrote an article for the newly re-launched Newsweek publication, and expressed her seeming disdain for the reporter’s former employer, CNN. “I’m so glad that she’s done with that…”

Brzezinski told Brown, before making a disgruntled sound, “that situation wherever she was before, at an unnamed network.” Brzezinski is not one to shy away from expressing her opinions while on the air. The MSNBC host gained some infamous buzz during her early years on the network after ripping up and then attempting to burn a script that covered a trivial story on Paris Hilton.

“Morning Joe” co-host Mike Barnicle also jumped in on the CNN hating, adding to Brzezinski’s argument, “[Parker] was brutalized by her professional experience.”
