Another star of “Teen Mom 2” has run afoul of the law.
Jonathan Rivera — baby daddy to Kailyn Lowry’s one year-old son Isaac — was popped by police in Palmer Township, Pennsylvania last week for being under the influence of marijuana.
Rivera, 19, was a passenger in his brother Edward’s car when the vehicle was pulled over with sparks flying from the undercarriage.
He’s the latest personality from the popular MTV series who could use a good lawyer.
In January, Lowry visited the Northampton County Courthouse seeking a protection-from-abuse order against her mother’s boyfriend.
A few weeks later, former friend Jaelanie Salas called the cops on Jenelle Evans and boyfriend Kieffer Delp and later filed the two complaints alleging that the mischievous mom broke into her house and trashed it!
An upcoming episode shows Jenelle – who was arrested in October for breaking and entering and possession of drug paraphernalia — swiping her mother’s credit card and running up $1,200 in charges during a getaway to New Jersey.
“I don’t think this behavior is a result of them being on the show,” says blogger Ashley Majeski of TheAshleysRealityRoundup.com. “This is what would have happened in their real lives.”
At last week’s taping of the “Teen Mom 2” reunion special – which is scheduled to air sometime in March — Jenelle admitted she would likely be behind bars had she not gotten knocked up in high school.
“She said something like ‘If I hadn’t had this baby, I would have been in jail because I was hanging with bad people,’ Majeski says. “’I would have ended up doing something to get myself in jail.’”
