Conan O’Brien celebrated Valentine’s Day on his TBS show by featuring a surprise resurgence of William Shatner the dramatist.

The star of the CBS sitcom “S#*! My Dad Says,” Shatner made a cameo on “Conan” to “serenade” a couple on stage with a dramatic reading of the hit song “Umbrella.”

For the gag, a couple, chosen from the audience, had won a romantic dinner for two in the studio — a Taco party pack that was served by Iron Chef Michael Symon.

Then the Emmy award winner treated them with his “romantic” rendition of the Rihanna song.

“Now that it’s raining more than ever, know that we still have each other,” Shatner recited with a straight face, as he popped open an imaginary umbrella. “You can stand under my umbrella-ella-ella-ella. Eh. Eh. Eh.”

Shatner has carved out a unique side gig for himself as a musician of sorts, releasing a series of albums featuring his spoof-tastic interpretations of famous prose, everything from William Shakespeare to Black Sabbath’s “Iron Man.”

Hilarious “30 Rock” sidekick Jack McBrayer also popped in for a “long and pointless story,” according to Conan, about the actor’s days growing up in Georgia, where a Valentine’s tradition involves sending your beloved “a real, live cow’s heart.”

At one point, Conan quipped he wasn’t sure if the couple had actually won or lost the contest.
