When Charlie Sheen’s latest antics resulted in the early shutdown of his CBS sitcom “Two and a Half Men,” the cast and crew were left without work, so the troubled actor has decided to play nice and offer up a portion of the out-of-work crew’s salaries during the break, according to TMZ.

While network executives are not confirming the report, TMZ asserts that Sheen, 45, will pay one-third of the salaries — if CBS and Warner Bros. each pitch in the remaining amounts.

Warner Bros. would only say, “We hope that [Sheen] is healthy in the very near future and we look forward to the return of production of ‘Two and a Half Men.’”

Production on the sitcom has been shut down since January 28, and according to CBS, there are no immediate plans to pick back up, despite Sheen’s apparent willingness to start shooting next week.
