Before you definitively conclude that “Terra Nova” is “Lost” meets “Jurassic Park,” consider this brief synopsis: The series follows an enterprising family from the year 2149 that does the time warp dance to prehistoric Earth in an experiment to save mankind from the wretched existence that is the year 2149.
Toplining the cast are Jason O’Mara (“Life on Mars“) as patriarch Jim Shannon; Shelley Conn (“Mistresses“) as matriarch Elisabeth Shannon; and the aforementioned Lang (“Avatar”) as Commander Nathaniel Taylor.
“Terra Nova” launches with a special two-night event Monday, May 23 and Tuesday, May 24 at 9/8c on Fox.
