After seven years of nightmares and dreamscapes, “Medium” ends its run on television–and two different networks, NBC and CBS–tonight with a series finale befitting the supernatural crime drama.

The final episode, called “Me Without You,” will bring “terror,” “mystery” and “closure” to the Dubois family, and even features a glimpse of an elderly Allison in the future…and a scene of a tearful Allison at someone’s grave.

Star Patricia Arquette says they wanted to finish off the series about the crime-solving, psychic super-mom with “a lot of integrity.”

Here’s the CBS’ synopsis of the finale: “When Allison becomes a lawyer and Joe starts a new job, the Dubois family is forever changed.”

And they mean forever.

Executive producer Glenn Gordon Caron says ominously, “It’s absolutely a series finale in every sense of the word.”

The final episode of “Medium” airs tonight at 8 p.m./EST on CBS.

Will you miss “Medium”? Do you wish it had gotten a third “save” or is it time to go?
