It turns out that not even Glenn Beck likes Glenn Beck — or at least the Fox News host claims he used to be such a “very bad man” that he would have hated himself in the past.

Beck sat down Wednesday morning with Meredith Vieira to promote his new book, “The 7,” where he admitted to once being a “nasty guy.” (Although Vieira might have found him stubborn on “The Today Show” after he continually talked over the NBC morning host.)

The book stop turned into a critical interview as Vieira began questioning Beck’s apparent hypocrisy toward anger — a subject he touches on in the book — as he continues to fuel the fire of his audience on hot topic issues.

“You don’t think that that contributes at all to a climate of anger or hate?” Vieira pointedly asked Beck, to which he responded that she should ask Jon Stewart and “The Simpsons” the same question.
