Come down from the ledge, Justin Bieber fans. The teen heartthrob and his trademark bangs are okay, despite a recent trip to the ER.

The 16-year-old singer was taken to Providence St. Joseph’s Hospital in Burbank, Calif., Wednesday evening after falling ill on the set of “CSI,” according to Life & Style.

Was it “Bieber Fever” that did him in?!

“He was having trouble breathing due to an allergic reaction,” a source close to the pop singer says. “His doctor met him there. He stayed at the hospital about 30 minutes and was discharged.”

Bieber returned to the set of “CSI” earlier this week to reprise his guest-starring role as a troubled teen. He made his acting debut on the CBS crime procedural earlier this fall.

A rep for Bieber confirms the hospitalization and reports that “He’s fine now and back on set.”

Justin Bieber’s bonus “CSI” episode is scheduled to air Thursday, Feb. 17 on CBS.
