‘Californication’ Renewed For Season 5

Hank Moody will live drink and screw another day. Showtime has renewed “Californication” for a fifth season, David Nevins, the network’s president of entertainment confirmed Friday at the Television Critics Association press tour in Pasadena. “This is a show I can honestly say has been a personal favorite of mine,” Nevins delighted.

Sunday night’s fourth season premiere was the dramedy’s best premiere ever, with over one million viewers tuning in.

Nevins also confirmed the network is working on an unscripted series,  “Gigolos, ” which he told Fancast will document straight male gigolos living in Las Vegas.
