Arizona seeks Mark’s advice as she tries to reconcile with Callie, who has big news of her own; Teddy must make a key decision for Henry during his surgery; and on the same day the residents receive a new crop of interns, the Chief announces he is looking for a new Chief Resident.
SERIES PREMIERE: ‘Beyond Scared Straight‘ (10pm on A&E)
‘Beyond Scared Straight’ is a new series executive produced by Arnold Shapiro and based on his Academy Award and multiple Emmy-Winning documentary ‘Scared Straight!,’ that will profile unique approaches to juvenile crime prevention in prisons around the U.S.
WATCH: ‘Jersey Shore‘ (10pm on MTV)
Sammi and Ronnie continue to isolate themselves, but eventually Ronnie gets fed up and hangs with the rest of the gang.
DVR: ‘Wipeout‘ (8pm ET on ABC)
Host John Henson sings a Holiday tune from the warm and cozy booth as temperatures drop outside. Henson adds, “It’s our craziest course yet – and it’s completely covered in snow! Fortunately, that helps reduce the swelling.” Contestants brave the elements as they step on to a white, slippery and wintery wonderland and take on new obstacles such as Mogul Madness and the Yule Log Jam, which would even put a toasty smile on old man winter’s face.
