“The Good Wife” has had a lot of good gets when it comes to guest stars lately and the most recent additions to the guest cast roster are as good as it gets.
Veteran funnyman Jerry Stiller and “Ugly Betty” star America Ferrera are on board for episodes this season on the CBS drama.
Ferrera will be playing a graduate student named Natalie who turns the head of Eli Gold, according to scoopage from Entertainment Weekly. She’s set for three episodes to air during February sweeps. As for Stiller, he’s playing a narcoleptic judge in the first Ferrera episode and faces off against Diane Lockhart (Christine Baranski).
Robert King, co-creator and executive producer of “The Good Wife,” tells EW, “We’ve been watching and loving America for years now on ‘Ugly Betty,’ and it’ll be fantastic to see her take on a completely different role — especially one that puts her across from Alan Cumming. And Jerry Stiller is our dream judge. It was great when we got to stop saying ‘We need a Jerry Stiller-type in the role’ and just got Jerry Stiller.”
“The Good Wife” airs on CBS on Tuesdays at 10/9 p.m. CT.
