‘Kourtney & Kim Take New York’: Will A Saner Scott Surface?

It seems like the third, well technically fourth, city’s the charm for Kourtney Kardashian’s drama-making baby daddy Scott Disick.

We’ve seen Scott’s crazy antics in Las Vegas on “Keeping up with the Kardashians” when he literally shoved money down a waiter’s throat. We saw blood and tears in Miami on “Kourtney & Khloe Take Miami” in a drunken, mirror-punching night.

But for “Kourtney & Kim Take New York,” the latest in the Kardashian spin-offs, it seems the Big Apple has a different effect on this rehabilitated man that’s been considered one of the most hated guys on reality television.

“We’re doing great,” Kourtney Kardashian, 31, tells us. “It was fun being in New York near his family and friends for a change. For Scott to feel like he’s in his own place is important for him and made him feel good. He has a lot of work out there so that was good for him too to always have something to do. In L.A., he’s always on my stuff. Miami was the worst. But New York is good for him. He’s actually good in L.A now too. It’s much better.”

Kourtney says during the taping of “Kourtney & Kim Take New York,” which debuts on E! on January 23, she spent a lot of time with Scott’s parents in the Hamptons. (Scott grew up in Eastport, New York and has been vocal about moving his family back to New York.) “It’s great for Mason to see his family too and for them to spend time with him, so it’s been great or both of us.”

And little Mason, age 1, has been thriving in the Big Apple as well. “Mason loves New York,” the proud mama beams. “New York has a lot to offer for kids. We’d go to music class all the time. New York has so many creative things, like Gloga. It’s glow-in-the dark yoga for babies and moms and you wear white and glow. New York has tons of cool stuff like that they don’t really have here in Los Angeles.”

Even sister Kim feels closer to Scott after spending time in his own stomping grounds. “For sure,” she tells us. “But I feel like I’ve always had a good relationship with Scott, so it’s just like we all got a little bit closer. It was fun, and Scott babysat Mason so Kourtney and I could spend some time together.”

That doesn’t mean New York didn’t have a least one downturn. Scott gets into a well-documented bar brawl when defending Kim after she gets a drink thrown at her in October 2010 at Juliet’s Supper Club in New York. Scott ended up getting thrown out of the club. And, yes, this all unveils later in the season of ‘Kourtney & Kim Take New York.’

That aside, Kourtney says, “We’re good.”
