Keeping up with the Kardashian clan just got a little easier. On Wednesday, E! confirmed plans for a reality series starring newly-ish weds Khloe Kardashian and Lamar Odom, tentatively titled “Khloe & Lamar.”
“Khloe and Lamar are such a dynamic couple that we just knew we had to give them their own series,” said Lisa Berger, E!’s executive vice president of programming. “They are fascinating individuals in their own right, and together the duo are a powerhouse. They are funny, dramatic, opinionated, and we intend to capture all this, along with the unvarnished reality of their lives together and apart, since each is constantly followed by their own celebrity spotlight.”
The show will follow the couple, who wed in 2009, and Khloe’s brother Rob, who’s shacking up with the duo as he attempts to launch his music career.
“Khloe & Lamar” marks the third spin-off to the successful original “Keeping up with the Kardashians” series, following “Kourtney & Khloe Take Miami,” and “Kourtney & Kim Take New York,” which premieres Jan. 23.
E! made the announcement at the Television Critics Association press tour in Pasadena. Filming is set to begin in early 2011.
