Sarah Palin might not be that great with a shotgun, but she sure makes an easy target.
Both Conan O’Brien and Jimmy Kimmel featured holiday spoofs of the tough talking Alaskan on the hunt for… Rudolph the Red-Nosed Reindeer. (Although if assessments of her aim on TLC’s “Sarah Palin’s Alaska” made by hunters were accurate, Rudolph doesn’t have much to worry about.)
Kimmel was first with the firearm festivities on the Dec. 7 (and previously in December 2008) episode of “Jimmy Kimmel Live.” He notes in introducing the bit that, “you don’t typically see politicians shooting reindeer to death on television a few weeks before Christmas – it’s unusual.”
The Kimmel bit took the audio of Palin and her dad on the hunt and laid it over the famous Rudolph cartoon, plus a few bullet holes.
“Conan” presented his on Wednesday as a more contemporary Rudolph story, with Rudolph frolicking as Palin hunkers down and takes aim.
Whose Palin-hunts-Rudolph bit had better aim, Conan or Kimmel?
