Heather Morris, who steals scenes as spacey cheerleader Brittany Pierce on “Glee,” is under consideration for the role of another cheerleader, the lead in the remake of “Buffy, the Vampire Slayer.”

“They’re considering me!” Morris told “Access Hollywood” Thursday. “I found out and I almost peed my pants ’cause I was so excited!” she said.

Morris, a dancer who could no doubt pull off the gymnastics required, proclaimed herself a fan of the series. “If they make ['Buffy'] when ['Glee'] is on hiatus, I don’t even care what I do. I can just run through the shot and do nothing – even if I’m not Buffy!”

Warner Bros. nabbed the movie rights in November, although the redo will notably not involve series and original 1992 movie creator Joss Whedon, who has called the remake a “sad, sad reflection on our times, when people must feed off the carcasses of beloved stories from their youths — just because they can’t think of an original idea of their own.”

Whedon was offered the chance to be involved, according to THR, but declined.
