Fans of Fox’s ‘Lie to Me‘ might be sitting on edge this holiday season as the network is seemingly toying with viewers as to the show’s fate. Will it get a full season? Speculation as to the fate of ‘Lie to Me’ bubbled up following Fox’s midseason schedule announcement, which has the drama disappearing after January and being replaced by the new series ‘The Chicago Code,’ beginning February 7.

In a show business twist of fate, the former showrunner of ‘Lie to Me,’ Shawn Ryan, just happens to be the executive producer of its replacement, ‘Chicago Code,’ which stars Jennifer Beals and Jason Clarke (‘Brotherhood’). He also happens to be the producer of the recently axed FX drama, ‘Terriers.’

TheWrap.com reports that an official decision on the fate of ‘Lie to Me’ will be made early next year, however various sources are claiming the series has not been killed, just yet.
