Hot-tempered celebrity chef Gordon Ramsay can often be seen in attack mode, spitting venom at underlings on shows like Fox’s ‘Hell’s Kitchen‘ and ‘Kitchen Nightmares,’ but the British cook is now the one under fire, thanks to multiple millions of dollars in lawsuits.

A New Zealand promotions company has aimed a $1.6 million lawsuit at Ramsay following his alleged “fraudulent” activities surrounding canceled appearances at multiple charity events, according to The New York Post.

Ramsay claimed his mother’s ill health made it impossible to attend three gatherings that Duco Events arranged for the chef to attend, despite his still showing up for other events around the same time.

The lawsuit from Duco Events seems like chump change when compared to the $3.2 million claim laid against Ramsay by his father-in-law, Chris Hutcheson, who believes he was wrongfully terminated as the chef’s business manager.

Troubles surrounding Ramsay have also been circling his famed business in recent months, including his company’s reported debt of £17million and the closures of restaurants in the U.S., Cape Town, Prague and around the U.K., according to the Daily Mail.
