Today marks a special occasion as we get to take a look at a clip of a performance from a British talent show that has nothing to do with an awkward-looking person demonstrating a surprisingly powerful voice.

Glee‘ has gone international.

The cast has enjoyed tremendous success across all borders, but live television performances have been rare until Sunday night, when they paid a visit to Simon Cowell’s ‘The X Factor.’

The cast — with the notable exception of Chris Colfer (Kurt), who stayed back in L.A. to film scenes with The Warblers — performed “Don’t Stop Believin’” and it was a show-stopper.

By all indications they sang live, save for probably the backing vocals that start the song, and the crowd erupted with every crack of fireworks and flames that rose from the stage’s edges. My favorite is when Amber Riley (Mercedes) sort of bizarrely gets right up in Cowell’s grill to belt out the biggest note of the song. (Man, I miss Simon already).

It’s a big and impressive performance that is sure to get U.K. fans fired up for the cast’s tour there this summer.
