Tempestt Bledsoe, who grew up on TV playing Vanessa Huxstable on the beloved ‘Cosby Show,’ has been named the new host of ‘Clean House,’ the Style Network announced Thursday.

“I’m thrilled to be a part of the Style family and especially to be working on ‘Clean House,’” Bledsoe said in a statement. “I love meeting these families, and I look forward to helping them get their cluttered homes back in order.”

Bledsoe replaces comedienne Niecy Nash, who announced over the summer that she was leaving the show after seven seasons.

“Tempestt brings new attitude and comedic style to ‘Clean House,’” said Renee Simon, Vice President of Current Programming for Style. “Her charm, enthusiasm and desire to help people have been clear since day one. We
believe that viewers will fall in love with our newest addition to the ‘Clean House’ team throughout the coming months.”

The Daytime Emmy-winning makeover series aims to help families make a clean sweep and toss the clutter in the gutter.

All new episodes of ‘Clean House’ starring Tempestt Bledsoe begin airing January 26 at 10 p.m./EST on the Style Network.
