Back on November 17, Craig Ferguson was set to prove once again how different he is from the late-night norm by devoting an entire episode of ‘The Late Late Show’ to the long-running British sci-fi series ‘Dr. Who,’ complete with an elaborate and weird song and dance number set to show’s theme song. However, five minutes before the show, they were told that they didn’t have the rights to the music, and therefore couldn’t do the performance that they’d rehearsed for two days.
You can see Craig’s angry reaction to this development in the cold open that actually aired right here.
The show was still dedicated to ‘Dr. Who,’ of course, as evidenced by his monologue and having the series’ current star Matt Smith on for an interview. During the broadcast, though, Ferguson hinted that he would promote anyone who leaked the video of the planned performance onto the internet, and today it appears that someone has just climbed up the occupational ladder.
