Jennier Esposito’s on-screen partnership with Donnie Wahlberg is a keeper, now that the actress has been promoted to a series regular on CBS’ ‘Blue Bloods.’

As Detective Jackie Curatola, “Jennifer is a wonderful addition to the cast,” says exec producer Leonard Goldberg. “She brings creativity and energy to the set every day and is a perfect match for Donnie Wahlberg’s character. We are thrilled to have her on the team.”

Esposito, whose previous TV credits include ‘Samantha Who,’ ‘Rescue Me’ and ‘Related,’ first appeared on ‘Blue Bloods’ on October 15, and has appeared in three episodes since then (including this Friday’s).

‘Blue Bloods’ airs Fridays at 10/9c, where it has been dominating its time-slot competition as well as winning the entire night in total viewers.
