Oh, brother – ABC’s ‘No Ordinary Family‘ will expand a bit when ‘Third Watch’ alum Jason Wiles comes on board at midseason.

Wiles will play Mike Powell, the brother of Michael Chiklis‘ Jim, in the 12th episode of the season, Fancast has learned. Thus far, he is signed for just the single appearance.

Two ‘24′ Alumni Clock In At ‘No Ordinary Family’

Is Mike a good egg or a bad apple? It depends on who’s talking. Jim will be more than happy to reconnect with his free-spirited, devil-may-care kin. Wife Stephanie (Julie Benz), however, knows her in-law’s track record and as such is wary of his agenda – let alone how he might seek to capitalize on their superpowered secrets were he to be looped in.

In addition to ‘Third Watch,’ Wiles’ credits include the original ‘Beverly Hills, 90210′ and this past summer’s ‘Persons Unknown’ (on NBC).

ABC’s ‘No Ordinary Family,’ which has already been picked up for a full season, airs Tuesdays at 8/7c.
