Are you confused by the photo of E! reality star Kendra Wilkinson on the cover of the December Playboy? You are? Kendra was afraid of that!

After all, she’s been saying she’s done with posing nude for the magazine, at least in part because her husband, Minnesota Vikings wide receiver Hank Baskett, doesn’t want her to. So Kendra posted a statement on her personal website that she hopes will clear up the confusion now gripping the planet over this cover photo, featuring Kendra in a bikini, and other more-explicit pics inside the mag.

To make a long story short: The pictures are leftovers from a photo shoot that took place two years ago, Kendra explains. Apparently, Playboy owns the rights to the pics, and can publish them any time it wishes.

“Hey guys! So I wanted to clear something up really quick!” writes Kendra, the star of ‘Kendra’ on E! (Sundays at 10 p.m./9c). “A lot of you saw on my show that I was struggling to decide whether to pose for Playboy again or not. I AM on the December cover of Playboy but it wasn’t from a recent shoot. The photos are from a shoot I did 2 years ago when I was still living in the [Playboy] mansion. . . . I just wanted you guys to know I didn’t recently pose.”

Indeed, to pose or not to pose – that was the question this past Sunday in the season premiere episode of ‘Kendra.’

On the show, Hank discovered Kendra in the midst of a “test shoot” to see if she should pose for a fifth time for Playboy, reports Eonline’s Marc Malkin.  “He wasn’t mad at me for doing that photo shoot,” Kendra told Malkin. “He actually sat down with me and he went over the reasons of doing it. And you know, my reasons weren’t right. I wanted to do Playboy for the wrong reasons. The wrong reasons are to prove people wrong, not to prove it to myself but to people, and to put my middle finger up to everybody and be like, ‘I’m going to do Playboy!’ But that wasn’t the right reason, you know?”

Alrighty then. Still confused? Or has Kendra made her views on Playboy crystal clear? Or, more importantly, should Kendra pose nude again for Playboy or shouldn’t she?
