Beware of ouija boards, vampires and unexpected guests in the 21st annual installment of the “Treehouse of Horror.” In “War and Pieces,” the first of three spine-tingling tales, Marge, worried about the effects of excessively violent video games, encourages Bart and Milhouse to give wholesome, classic board games a shot. The best friends discover that board games aren’t boring after all when they find themselves playing a real-life game in which they must beat all the challenges before they are allowed to return to home.

KEY EPISODE:Desperate Housewives‘ (Sunday at 9pm ET on ABC)

Susan begrudgingly accepts Lynette’s offer to be baby Paige’s nanny; Bree is embarrassed to tell Keith that she’s beginning to go through menopause; Renee makes a tempting job proposition to Lynette; Gabrielle fears that Bob is trying to seduce Carlos after the two strike up a friendship; and Beth begins to question Paul’s motives on the lane.

When Jennifer and John Atkinson of Glen Ellyn, Illinois, married four years ago, they had a dream of blending their existing families and having more children, too. Jennifer already had two teenagers, Amanda, 14, and Abbey, 13, and John shares custody of his daughter, Julia, age 10, from a previous marriage. The couple then had two children together: Reese, 4, and Maeve, 2 1/2 years old. However, their hopes of creating a harmonious new family fell short, and they are officially at their wits’ end.

DVR:Married To Rock‘ (Sunday at 10:30pm on E!) **Series Premiere**

Leather, lace and rock ‘n’ roll collide head-on with marriage, kids and careers in this new E! series. The show gives viewers an inside look at the fast-paced, high-profile and always entertaining lifestyles of three women who are married to rock stars and one who is hoping to join their ranks. ‘Married to Rock’ features Susan Holmes McKagan, who has been married to Duff McKagan of Guns-N-Roses since 1999; Etty Farrell, who met husband Perry Farrell while auditioning to be a back-up dancer for Jane’s Addiction during a tour in 1997; Josie Stevens, a model who eloped with legendary rock guitarist Steve Stevens after eight years of dating; and AJ Celi, who has been in a relationship with guitarist Billy Duffy of The Cult for the past three years and is ready to take the plunge
