USA Network’s pilot about a shrink has expanded its cast with the addition of a BFF and mom for ‘Rescue Me’ vet Callie Thorne‘s central character.

Necessary Roughness‘ stars Thorne as Dani, a tough love-dispensing therapist who lands a choice gig with a pro football team. In the wake of her success there, she quickly becomes the go-to talk-to for other big-league athletes, musicians and high-profile figures.
