[Spoiler alert! Don't read this if you don't want to know who went home on 'DWTS']

Five weeks into the season, ‘Dancing with the Stars‘ delivered its first HOLY COW moment when three minutes into tonight’s results show the worst dancer of the season, the one who keeps getting more horrific week after week, was declare safe.

Yes, I’m talking about Bristol Palin.

Safe.

Cynics can speculate why and how it happened. I don’t know. But Bristol and Mark Ballas came in last on the leader board with just 18 out of 30 points Monday night, so that means fans really rose to the occasion and kept them on the show.

But why?

Please hit the comments and let me know why you think Alaska’s first Teen Mom is still on the show.

So who went home? It wasn’t the second lowest scorer of the night, Kyle Massey – and I am happy about that. Neither was it Brandy or Jennifer Grey – of course. And I am even happier about that. Those two are tops. And I’m also happy to see Audrina Patridge still good to go another week. Rick Fox is going to hang around, too.
.

.

That means everyone’s favorite TV mom, Florence Henderson, and her partner Corky Ballas, were bid adieu. Ironically, their score of 21 this week was their best all season. Go figure.

“I have been in television for over 50 years and this is one of the best produced shows I’ve ever been on,” Henderson said. “I’ve loved the show since it began. It’s just a tremendous show. I hope I’ve inspired people to get up off their behinds and move and dance.”

After the show, Florence admitted to reporters backstage that she was “a little surprised” at the night’s loss, but added that “someone has to go.” She also revealed that she did play a bit of the mother figure to both Bristol and Brandy. “Bristol was always close to me,” she said. “And I’ve had some really deep talks with Brandy. I thinks she’s really opened up as well. We’ve had talks about how to get out of your own way…I’m gonna miss everybody so much.”

It looks like Flo won’t let us miss her for too long as she has many projects to keep her in the public eye. “I’m finishing my book [a memoir], which will be out Mother’s Day and I have a huge contract with Bausch & Lomb because I have 20/20 vision thanks to them. So I’ll be doing commercials for them. And I do my one woman show. And Corky and I have a couple of projects we’re working on, which you will hear about,” she added.

The famed TV mom also took a moment to reflect on the day’s big TV loss of ‘Happy Days’ dad Tom Bosley. “He was a great friend. I knew Tom for many, many years. He was a great Broadway performer as well as a wonderful actor on television and staged. He will be missed. He was a great guy,” she said.

Other highlights from the fifth results show include:

The Hoff Returns: Blame the writers for this. They ran a mock attorney infomercial featuring David Hasselhoff with special guests Margaret Cho and Mike “The Situation” Sorrentino. Key line: “Two left feet? No problem! Bad judges scores? No problem.”

International Relations: In a rare feel-good moment, they brought out a family from the Congo to Cha Cha Cha on the show with the pros as the matriarch of the family watched with tears from her eyes from the front row. Very sweet.

Superstars! Kudos once again to ‘DWTS’ producers for always getting music’s biggest hitmakers to take to their stage. It’s a pleasure to hear hot tunes accompanied by even hotter dancers. Tonight Jason Derulo performed “In My Head” and cover of the classic R&B song, “Georgia on My Mind.” and, Latin superstar Shakira belted out her latest hits, “Loca” and “Waka Waka (This Time For Africa).” Who says variety shows are dead?

Hips Don’t Lie: While the scripted comedy bits weren’t that funny, Shakira’s provocative moves during “Loca” drew laughs backstage and in the audience. How about you? As far as I’m concerned, it was like she was spoofing her signature sexy hip-shaking moves ala a ‘Saturday Night Live’ skit.

Here’s what the week looked like:

Brandy and Maksim Chmerkovskiy: 27
Jennifer Grey and Derek Hough: 25
Kurt Warner and Anna Trebunskaya: 24
Rick Fox and Cheryl Burke: 24
Audrina Patridge and Tony Dovolani: 23
Florence Henderson and Corky Ballas: 21
Kyle Massey and Lacey Schwimmer: 20
Bristol Palin and Mark Ballas: 18
