[Spoiler alert! Don't read this if you don't want to know who went home on 'DWTS']

Dancing with the Stars‘ sent another celebrity packing, after a particularly difficult week of performing in the round on an intimate stage.

And The Situation is this: The party is over for Mike ‘The Situation’ Sorrentino. The ‘Jersey Shore‘ star and his partner Karina Smirnoff did not survive their “terrible mess” of an Argentine Tango this week and were voted off the show Tuesday night.

“I told myself, you know what, if I got eliminated today I put it all on the floor last night,” The Situation said during his exit interview, and then bowed down. “It is what it is. I tried my best and at the end of the day, somebody had to go home.”

The Situation skipped the press line after the show to tend to a toothache before heading off to appear on ‘Jimmy Kimmel Live!,” according to his partner Karina Smirnoff. But dancer filled us in on how the booted dancer is doing. “He’s okay. He’s a little upset understandably so,” she told reporters after the taping.

“It’s okay,” she continued. “It was very predictable after last night. I totally thought it was going to be us. The scores were quite low and the remarks weren’t that encouraging either. But it’s okay. I had so much fun on the show and I got to meet the real Mike and he’s a sweetheart. I think his time was cut a little too short on the show. I think he had a couple of more weeks in him, but it is what it is.”

Okay, on with the rest of the show…

Encore, Encore!: I was secretly hoping the encore performance would be another, er, bad one (like Situation last week), but, alas, the judges were proper about it and gave it to Jennifer Grey and Derek Hough for their Argentine Tango, which scored the first 10 of the season. “We’d like to see a routine that was without doubt the best of Season 11. It had everything,” said Len Goodman while introducing the dazzling duo. The pair got a standing O and may have even danced it better than the night before.

Mystery solved: When The Situation told us Monday night that he “stormed off” we were puzzled because we didn’t see that on screen. That’s because he was referring to the confessional interview, which tapes on Monday but airs on the Tuesday show. His parting words before taking off were, “I’m done with this.”

The Situation Storms Off on ‘DWTS’

Caught in a lie: Remember when Len teased Mark Ballas Monday night about being shirtless, saying that you wouldn’t see him coming out shirtless and all? Well, the lovely producers dug up some old footage of a shirtless Len from a past season. Hil-ar-ious! The head judge is not in bad shape for a man his age! Even funnier was Len’s lesson on how to get a perfect score with Kurt Warner, Rick Fox and The Situation sitting in as his students. Len’s much funnier than that Adam Carolla comedy slop. More Len, please!

Kudos: To co-host Tom Bergeron for putting our petty entertainment drama into perspective by reminding us that the 33 trapped Chilean miners are being rescued at the same time dancers are awaiting their less-important fates.

File this under OMG or Ewwww: The Situation moving his pecs up and down while standing on stage awaiting his fate. Quick-on-his-feet Tom joked that Bruno Tonioli just gave him a 10.

Filler Up: Before the results, there were acoustic appearances by the Goo Goo Dolls, who performed a medley of their new single, “Not Broken,” and hit “Iris,” and Florence + The Machine performing their hit song “Dog Days Are Over.” Also, Macy’s Stars of Dance performed a number from the Tony-nominated show ‘Forever Tango.’

And once again, for those not paying close attention, we bring you the leaderboard totals for the week:

Jennifer Grey and Derek Hough: 56
Brandy and Maksim Chmerkovskiy: 48
Audrina Patridge and Tony Dovolani: 46
Kyle Massey and Lacey Schwimmer: 40
Rick Fox and Cheryl Burke: 39
Florence Henderson and Corky Ballas: 35
Kurt Warner and Anna Trebunskaya: 33
Bristol Palin and Mark Ballas: 32
Mike ‘The Situation’ Sorrentino and Karina Smirnoff: 28

Do you think the right person went home? Who are you sick and tired of?
