She may have come in second place on the show, but ‘American Idol‘s folk-singer favorite got a perfect ’10′ on her wedding day…literally.

Crystal Bowersox married musician Brian Walker on Sunday, October 10, 2010, in Chicago. That means the couple will celebrate their anniversary on 10/10/10 along with the approximated 40,000 other lovebirds who said ‘I Do’ on the once-in-a-century date.

The singers announced their engagement in September.

Though it was a whirlwind courtship, Bowersox and Walker have been longtime friends. The couple wed in front of 60 friends and family at the same club where they met six years ago during Open Mic Night.

“Our lives have never made more sense than they do right now,” Bowersox tells People. “I can’t believe how incredibly lucky we are to have found so much laughter, love, and light within each other. We’re one happy WalkerSox family.”

Bowersox’s 18-month-old son Tony (from a previous relationship) was the ring bearer. The bride stayed true to her free-spirit nature, wearing an Earth-friendly hemp and cotton gown with macramé, seashell and bead detailing from Vermont designer Tara Lynn, according to People.

Bowersox, the runner-up on ‘Idol’ Season 9, is currently recording her debut album.
