The season finale will document the aftermath of President Obama’s first White House State Dinner last November and the ensuing media frenzy surrounding the event. In the finale episode, the other housewives learn, along with the rest of the country, of the events of that night and the questions swirling around whether fellow housewife Michaele and her husband Tareq Salahi had been officially invited to the State Dinner. The episode captures the reactions from Stacie, Linda, Cat and Mary as they hear the news, as well as Michaele and Tareq’s initial response to the accusations by the media that their names allegedly were not on the State Dinner guest list.
Andy invites the entire office to his community theater production of Sweeney Todd in hopes that Erin (Ellie Kemper) will attend. Michael tries to put his jealousy aside and enjoy the performance while Jim and Pam struggle with their incompetent babysitter.
Tyler learns more about the Lockwood family curse from Mason (guest star Taylor Kinney). Stefan and Damon argue over how to handle Mason. Elena tries to keep Jeremy from becoming more involved with the Lockwood mystery, but Jeremy makes an effort to hang out with Tyler. Mason gives Sheriff Lockwood some startling information, leading to a night of violence, confession and heartbreak.
The guys are concerned as Sheldon searches for an alternative to human companionship.
When Derek receives an unexpected and unwelcome visit from his estranged sister, Amelia, issues between the siblings — both past and present — come to the surface; the Chief tries to help Alex when he notices that he’s refusing to use the elevators after his near-fatal shooting; and Meredith and Derek continue their efforts to ease Cristina back into surgery after her post-traumatic stress.
